Brackish Water Treatment and Desalination with Reverse Osmosis is a cost effective solution for water treatment

KMS FLUID SYSTEMS^® brand of reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes are able to remove both salts and minerals from brackish water. With plants as large as 50 MGD, KMS is a leader in brackish water treatment.

Long lasting, highly efficient membranes minimize demineralization and desalination costs

KMS has several spiral reverse osmosis membranes for different brackish water applications. These unique thin film composite (TFC^® ) membranes were developed specifically for demanding applications like desalination and demineralization. In addition to conventional 40" long elements, KMS provides Magnum^® elements which are 60" long, providing maximum efficiency with fewer connections and more area.

•  Remove dissolved solids (TDS)
•  Remove problem constituents such as arsenic, nitrate, pesticides, and metals such as iron
•  Treat water from brackish well water (bore hole), and salt marshes
•  Lifetimes of 4-8 years with some membranes lasting as long as 12 years
