Typical example of a KMS pilot system	UF Specialty Applications: HpHT UF Dairy Spirals   KMS HpHT UF dairy spirals can be cleaned at high pH (up to 12.5) and high temperatures (up to 185°F or 85°C). At these cleaning conditions the need for sodium hypochlorite cleaning cycles is eliminated. HpHT UF elements can be used in the same processes that employ the standard UF elements provided that they are not cleaned with hypochlorite. Applications include: • Concentration of whey • Production of whey isolates • Standardization of milk • Concentration of milk
