KMS Product Families
Tubular Membranes Cutting-edge tubular membranes from KMS are plug resistant, chemical and pH resistant, feature high volumetric reduction/concentration, and may be chemically cleaned.
Spiral Elements The KMS line of spiral wound membranes contains over 55 different configurations for water applications including softening organic material, brackish water and seawater. Types of membranes and elements include: net wrap, cellulose acetate and PES ultrafiltration. Sizes range from 2.4” to 18” in diameter, and from 40” to 60” in length. This is the widest range of products available today.
Hollow Fiber Cartridges When high packing density, low energy consumption, and an open channel design are the parameters on your drawing board, no high performance membranes fill the bill better than KMS hollow fiber membranes. Easily back flushed and maintained.
Reverse Osmosis Modules Under our FLUID SYSTEMS® brand, KMS has been the pioneer in reverse osmosis membrane development for decades. Today, KMS continues to make RO history with the introduction of the world’s largest RO element, the MegaMagnum® spiral element which is 18 inches in diameter and 60 inches in length - another incredible example of KMS leading the field in RO technology.
Flat Sheet Membranes KMS flat sheet membranes are supplied with a broad range of retention characteristics and materials of construction. All are designed to enable easy and economical feasibility testing or screening studies. KMS flat sheet membranes come in a broad range of pore sizes and material composition, all designed to optimize flux-rate and produce outstanding results for the life sciences, commercial production and manufacturing, and water treatment applications.
Membrane Bioreactors Characterized by bundles of fibers fixed in a single header at their lower ends, with the fibers sealed at their upper ends, the PURON® modules are submerged into biological sludge and produce a high quality filtrate. This design greatly minimizes fouling and clogging, produces stable flux and consumes less energy than other submerged systems. The PURON® MBR technology is ideal for treating both municipal and industrial wastewater.
